APPRENTICESHIPS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY |

 There are two levels of apprenticeship: Foundation (FA) and Advanced (AA) - in Wales the AA equivalents are called Modern Apprenticeships. Both of them lead to Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's), key skills qualifications and Technical Certificates.

 The Scottish Building Apprenticeship Training Council Scheme provides you with: A commitment to employment and training over a 4-year period. Structured training leading to an SVQ Level 2, specialist/civil apprenticeship or SVQ Level 3, Modern Apprenticeship.
