What's involved
A site technician works on a construction site and plans,
organises and controls the building operations. Their role includes
supervising the safety of the workplace and helping the team to
develop their personal skills.
Skills required
You'll need to have good communication skills and be able to
work well as part of a team. A clear understanding of health and
safety regulations and building regulations will be needed to do
this job and you have to be good at problem solving, organising and
meeting deadlines.
Qualifications required
There are no formal requirements although it would help to have
GCSE's in English or Welsh and Maths at A*-C (Applications from
students with the Foundation or Intermediate Welsh Baccalaureate
are also welcomed).
