What do you do day-to-day?
I work refurbishing existing buildings, stripping off the old roof and then putting on the new, and also on new buildings. I've worked all over the place, sometimes staying away from home, which I enjoyed.
Good bits about your job?
If you work hard at it, you can make a lot of money. It's a good laugh too, a real good team.
What does the future hold?
Good things I hope! I plan to stay with the company and maybe be in charge one day... but don't tell the boss that just yet!
Why did you choose this career?
I heard about roofing from the ConstructionSkills when I was at school and from then on, that's what I wanted to do!
