Most of the work of a ceiling fixer is on new or refurbished commercial developments such as offices, shops and factories; but some work is on bigger projects like new hospitals, schools and indoor arenas.
This role involves fitting suspended ceilings which often hide
ductwork, cabling, pipe work, air-conditioning and other unsightly
All the work undertaken is indoors, but you could be working
high up so being confident with heights is important.
You'll also need to be technically sound as you'll be reading
plans and drawings and you need to be good at managing your time
